VIP Coachella Passes- Worth It?

VIP Coachella Passes- Worth It?

I bought Justy two 1st weekend VIP Coachella passes for his birthday last August… Besides being an incredibly difficult person to buy gifts for, he’s a sucker for cool experiences, and neither of us had ever been! People debate whether the VIP Coachella passes are worth it or not. The short answer is yes! If you have a few extra hundred dollars to spend on your Coachella experience, there’s truly nothing better than living the highlife at one of the most sensational music festivals of the year…

We drove straight down to Palm Springs from Vancouver to have our car for the trip and also to enjoy a leisurely week of road tripping back. In Palm Springs we stayed at the Ace, a mid century desert modern hotel with a seriously sexy and chill seventies vibe going on. The Ace is certainly one of the coolest hotels to stay during Coachella. The place was crawling with models, influencers and performers. If you’re into that sort of thing, it’s definitely worth the splurge.

The festival itself was incredible! I couldn’t believe the quality of the acts and talent. Sia, Ice Cube, Asap Rocky, Sam Feldt, Kanye, Disclosure and Rihanna were some of my favourite performances. And the fashion? On another level! Unless you’re willing to wear pasties and have your booty out, you won’t even be a blip on the radar (there’s always next year haha!). At night, the palm trees lit up in blues, reds, and greens whilst illuminated balloons flew into the sky. Coachella, for a couple weekends each year, manages to develop its own universe, and while many other festivals attempt such a feat, the ones that actually achieve such a spectacle are few.

VIP Coachella Passes are highly limited and allow for special access to VIP exclusive areas and my personal favourite, line skipping. The main VIP area is always located adjacent to the Coachella Stage. The armada of white peaked tents allowed for an exceptional view to some of the biggest headliners. The VIP exclusive area consisted of shaded lush gardens, couches, cleaner restroom facilities, luxe food & beverage vendors and all the Lenny Kravitz you could get. The general grounds can get very dusty and crowded, so having a little oasis to escape to was a blessing!

If you are a blogger or influencer, VIP Coachella passes are an investment into your small business! The VIP area was crawling with amazing networking opportunities. Even industry greats like Youtube star Lele Pons and Instagram bikini babe Devin Brugman frolicked nearby. If you’re not about that life and just looking for a great time, I would still recommend the splurge. Treat yourself before you cheat yourself! And namaste you beautiful amazing killer you!

Sounds like so much fun! 20 years ago, it was Reggae on the River that was hot! Nowdays, music festivals are much more sophisticated. Evolution!
