After the 90s, wearing head to toe pink was reserved for 5 year olds, barbie dolls, and strippers… Now, I don’t mind being perceived as either of those things once in awhile (I should probably be less schizophrenic with my personal style), but in the past couple years wearing lighter, more feminine colours has become all the rave!
Neutrals are an it girls best friend, and nowadays this dusty pink colour screams embracing femininity more than it does crazy guidette. To avoid being too matchy matchy, I paired my dusty pink sweater and skirt with some lavender and black accents (cue leather jacket, sky high heels, and random but incredibly soft faux fur pompom). Okay, so I was overdressed for getting ice cream… But this was one of those moments where I can honestly say- I love my day job!
